Dear friends,
We've had a marvelous time here hunting, eating, touring and the like. Found the animal selection, quality and variety unmatched. We were able to take exactly what we wanted in bronze stag, typical fallow and Jill took a great ram. This should be a 'bucket list' destination for any hunter and his/her family. Great people, places, food and a home-like atmosphere equate to a marvelous experience.

Thanks for a wonderful experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality was great. Brent, Josh and yes even Ollie made my hunt a trip of a life time and we had some great laughs along the way. Thanks to Sandra for showing Judy the sites while I was trying to 'narrow it down' to the 'perfect stag'. The accommodations were terrific and I ate far too much. Great food. This was our first family vacation with our two sons, two daughter-in-laws and two grandkids, Everyone here did such a wonderful job keeping us all happy with hunting, shopping, trips to the beach. Even a polaris ride to hear the 'roar' with no shooting just so we could experience it. Couldn't have asked for any more accommodating group of people to help us enjoy this beautiful country. Adrian, Wendy and Brent were fabulous hosts. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable in their home ... cooking fabulous local meals as well as familiar dishes to make us feel at home. The room was so warm and spacious and the dining area was a wonderful place to gather, share stories and just hang out after a day of hunting. We can't wait to plan our next visit to hunt the South Island for Tahr and Chamois!

This is the second time I've hunted with the Moody's. First time was 15 years ago with Adrian for a free range Sambar. Now with his son Brent for my second free range sambar. The accommodations, food and friendly atmosphere were terrific. Made us feel like family. The Sambar hunt was first rate and an experience that's once in a life time of which I experienced twice in my life. We were treated like family and now have an extended family here in New Zealand. Love being here, would definitely come back again.
