Free Range Hunting Accommodation

At our free range Red Stag & fallow deer property we have the simple hunting cabin pictured. It’s only 200 yards from the Pacific ocean—an unusual setting for deer hunting! Suits small groups. The cabin has electricity and all conveniences.

For big groups we book the Station Homestead. This is a large style villa with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge with open fire, dining room and kitchen. Sundecks look out onto the attractive gardens and tennis court.

Food and Beverages

All meals and beverages are included in the hunt and will be prepared on the premises. New Zealand food is noted for its freshness. Wild game features on the menu along with NZ beef and lamb plus seafood from the coast. The Wairarapa coast has abundant seafood! Paua (abalone) and crayfish (lobster) are local delicacies readily obtainable simply by diving with a snorkel. Moki, blue cod and butterfish are excellent local tablefish. A variety of excellent local wine is also provided.

Game Ranch Accommodation

Game Ranch accommodations are much more luxurious, perfect for family groups or couples with non-hunting members. You will enjoy the best of New Zealand cuisine.
